About this data

Altitude and gradient at every point come from the real route file. The physiological figures are modelled, not measured, and every screen on this page says so. They sit inside published ranges for multi day mountain ultra efforts rather than being invented for effect.

The readings live in one database table and are served from /data/vitals.json. Connecting a watch, a chest strap or a pulse oximeter means writing real rows to that table and switching one config flag. Nothing else on this page has to change.
